One Step Retreat - May 16 - 17, 2025
Each year we invite single moms to join our church for a retreat weekend for a concentrated time of study and growth with friends.
Join us at our local beach, Doheny, this spring for our annual Women’s Retreat, a wonderful opportunity for the ladies of Terra Nova to pause, reflect, and spend time with God and each other. How often do we get an opportunity to truly focus and listen to what God is trying to teach us? Whether you are smooth sailing thru life or being tossed by waves of troubles, you are sure to be blessed by our speaker Amanda Anderson. She blends humor, psychological research, personal experiences, and Biblical truth to her speaking. Amanda will help us overcome anxious living and learn to be more authentic with God, ourselves, and others as we anchor ourselves to Christ and the comfort only He can provide.
Enjoy the amenities of the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn resort which is steps away from Doheny Beach, where we’ll have lunch and optional activities: games, learning to surf, and relaxing on the beach on Saturday afternoon. Please come and be sure to invite a friend!
Event will be held at on both days: Friday Night, 6:30-8:30pm, and Saturday, 9:00am-8:00pm. Lunch and Dinner will be provided on Saturday only.
Single parents can attend then drive home for $40 or for an extra $20 you can stay Friday and Saturday night in the Hilton Garden Inn and enjoy a complimentary breakfast. In addition, we will be providing a kids camp experience so parents with children 7 and older have childcare and can attend a retreat! Sign ups coming soon.
Single parents who decide to stay at the hotel will share a room with four single parents and each room sleeps six. You can pick your roommates or if you want to we can pick roomies for you. Your room will not be booked until you have paid $20 and if rooms are sold out we will not be able to accommodate additional guests so pay your $20 early! Your $20 fee can be brought to Book Club, Terranova Church located at 7 Whatney, Irvine, CA. 92691 or mailed to Terranova. Once your $20 payment is received we will reserve space for you in a room.
