We have many programs to ease the burden of being a single parent. Whether you are looking to build a safety net of a caring community or in need of housing or other necessary help, One Step has something for you. Become a participant.

Shelter - "Our House" multifamily transitional home houses single-parent families with one or more teenagers for up to six months.

Food - Learn to prepare low cost, tasty, healthy meals at “Dinner for a Week” or find OC food banks or find LA food banks.

Clothing - Gently used or new clothing for you and your family.

Back to School - Participants receive a Kohl’s gift card for each child.

Financial Counselor - Got more bills than money? Meet one on one with a financial counselor.

Work - Get help with your resume or check out links to recruiting agencies that post jobs daily.

Health - After Christmas, money is tight. Healthy Homes boxes of cleaning supplies help keep families healthy.

Book Club - Get connected, group support, encouragement, referrals or support in the Book Club or small-group discussion seminars.

Boys and Girls Events - Kids need to have fun and godly men and women make great role models.

Family Camp - Bring the family for a weekend of relaxation, boating, spiritual growth, fun, and more.

Retreat - Enjoy quiet time with others for a weekend in a beautiful setting.

Household Repairs - Once a year, tenant-responsibility repairs are done by volunteers to keep homes functional in Fix-It-Clean-It.

Holidays - Thanksgiving meals and Christmas blessings!

Automotive - Our auto advisor works with local auto shops to get discounted labor and parts.
